My name is Marissa and I have
decided to embark on the challenge of a life-time by volunteering in Romanian
orphanages for 3 months. During the past 7 years I have volunteered for
various charities including Childline and SAMH (Scottish Association for
Mental Health). As well as helping out at events for the Princes Trust,
Epilepsy Action and ENABLE. I am now hoping to combine my interest in
volunteering and travel by participating in this challenging Changing Worlds
project.
To raise money for the placement costs & as much money as possible for much needed resources
for the orphanages, I am organising a few fundraising events with help from
some supportive friends and family.
