In a rather strange move, CAL has suspend WEW's captain, Christian Pruss, for comments made on this website, GotFrag. Here's the press release:Christian Pruss, captain of the Weekend Warriors was suspended from CAL today due to his remarks made in a public forum directed towards CPL commissioner, Frank Nuccio. His suspension will last two matches and will also apply to any other team he may be affiliated with in a different division within CAL. The post was made by CAL|Micheal but obviously was provoked by Frank who post a replied in the CAL comments:

Today CAL announced the creation of an XBox Live! division. A snippet from the press release:
The Cyberathlete Amateur League (CAL) announced today that it is launching an Xbox Live™ division in June 2003. This newest division within CAL will feature Xbox sports titles as well as action and strategy games supporting the Xbox Live platform.

GX proved the Western Division crown will go through them and should force WEW to play a first round Wildcard match in the coming playoffs. 3D, tec and zEx all took solid control of their respected divisions and should be locks to take them.
