1. First it was necessary to lay aluminum foil down in the well and then cut pieces to construct the frame.  2. There's a shot of things pretty much in place.  3. After spending countless hours laying down chop matte and resin, we finished the bottom half, angled the MDF ring for the sub, and then stretched fleece over and fiberglassed the top of the project. 4. There's the project sitting snugly in the tire well temporarily!

 

     
5. A great deal of time was taken to get the top of this project at least a 1/2" thick... So we began, again, the familiar task of laying down seven layers of chop matte and resin and a finally layer of Duraglass!  Picture five shows that layer of Duraglass being knocked down!
