What is the best vampire movie? Many followers of vampire movies will argue that some of the older or classic vampire movies are the best, however I feel that most of the newer or modern vampire movies are far better.
The classic vampire movies depict the vampire as striclty a creature that lusts for blood and shows no sympathy for the living. These vampires were predictable creatures with no real character aside from the heartless demons of the night. Modern vampires have dynamic personalities and are intriguing creatures. Many of the modern vampires show some sort of compassion for the living and they cling to a part of them that was once human.
