Dr. Mathew A. McIntosh

Mathew McIntosh, Ph.D, C.RT, CRSS is a graduate of Oregon State University. After higher education positions with Drake University, Hampton University and the College of the Bahamas. "Doc" started the HCC Wellness Center in 1988. In 1995 the Center introduced a phase III Cardiac Rehabilitation Program following the standards of the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) and the American Association for Cardio Vascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR) clients. He is the author of two college texts, numerous articles and is a member of the Governor's Council on physical fitness. Dr. McIntosh and his wife, Lou Ann, have four children and live in Leitersburg, MD. His past times include bagpipes, biking, and studying WWII European Theatre of Operations (ETO) history.
