NEWS FLASH!! Katie took Best of Breed both days in Gray Summit, MO over 23 and 21 Mastiffs, including 4 other specials. She's pictured above after her win with handler Linda Cain.

Katie's moves with fluid grace. She is feminine yet has good strength of bone. Judges comment on her correct front end and the excellent width she shows in the rear. She has been a joy to show (even when her owner "handlers" haven't had a clue as to what they were doing).

Not just a pretty face, Katie has an excellent temperament. She is incredibly patient with our children, and meets new people and situations with friendly openness. Katie is a welcome visitor in our community, and we're looking forward to starting therapy work in nursing homes and schools. We are pleased that she passed her Therapy Dog International (TDI) test as well as the American Temperament Test Society Temperament Test (TT) at the 2001 MCOA National Specialty. Katie is one of the puppies from the famous litter sired by CH Acorn Hills Uther Pendragon out of CH Honeycreek Spoonful of Sugar. Uther and "Ali" were Pedigree®'s Top Producing Mastiffs for 2000, and were MCOA Collar Award winners in 2001 as the Top Producing Stud Dog and Top Producing Bitch. Out of their litter of 13 puppies, 7 have earned their championships and many others have earned points toward their championships. Katie was the first bitch to finish out of the litter.
