Probe- These are the builders. But what seperates them from the other species is that they dont have to wait for the building theyre building to get done to go do something else. This really comes in handy. |

Zealot- They might cost twice as much az a zergling or a marine, but they are far more than twice as powerful. They use psyonic baldes to rip through their enemies. And once you upgrade their speed, a large group is almost unstoppbale with only ground troops. They cannot shoot air. |
|
Dragoons- These are the assault warriors of the protoss. They are very popular to use en masse. This is because they are very versatile and take away large amounts of damage. These in a huge group are basically unstoppable. |
|
Shuttle- These are the ones that carry troops around. The thing that makes these better than the equvelant of the other species is that they are quite fast. They can hold 4 dragoons or 8 zealots. |

Reaver- These are similar to siege tanks in that they can shoot large distances. But they are not quite as effective as siege tanks. The reason is that everytime they shoot, you have to build a new missle. And they move very slow. |

Scout- These are very fast and very powerful against air. When upgraded they are the fastest in the game. Their gorund fire is not that effective. But it is good for killing all of your opponents probes. Against air, these are extremely potent. |
|
Corsair- These are strange units. They are the most powerful force against air in the game. They cant shoot ground units. But, they have a special ability that freezes any defensive structure. As you can imagine these are very useful in large battles. |
|
Carriers- These are kind of a mixed bag for me. To attack, you have to build up 8 interceptors (the things that fly out and do the attacking). This can be lenghty and annoying. But when you have a huge fleet of these, all charged up; they are almost unstoppable. |

Observers- These are basically spies. They have no weapons.But they do a good job at spying. |
|
Arbiters- These are special units. They have an attack, but it is useless. They have special abilities. They have recall, which basically warps your units in wherever you want them. And stasis field, which freezes enemy troops. Whats unique about these is, they have an area around them that whatever is in there, is cloaked. |
|
Dark Templar- These are always cloaked, They are kind of like zealots, exept their claws do 40 damage. As you can imagine paired with dragoons these are very powerful. And when two of them morph, they make a dark archon. |
|
Templar- These have no regular attack. They only have special abilities. One is psyonic stoorm. This fries the minds of all the units within an area. Another makes a dumb copy of every unit that is within an area. When you morph two of these together, you get an archon. |

|
Archon- These are when you morph two templars. They do good amounts of damage very fast But they do not have much life and are very cumbersome. Very useful with photon cannons for defense. |

Dark Archons- These have no attack, but have special abilities. One of these is mind control. This lets you take control of any of your enemies units. Another is Feedback. This uses a creatures own energy and then does that amount of damage to it. These are good to keep around a large force. |
