The human condition has been expressed in all cultures at all times. Myth is then created out of the instinctual drive for comprehending the unconceivable. With this imaginative drive to understand, comes the tendancy to exaggurate one's surroundings in attempt to fully comprehend the whole picture. With such recless imagination, humanity creates great figures of evil, to try and compensate for their lack of understanding, thereby explaining the unexplainable. For one of humanity's greatest fears, is not knowing. To prove the similar fear in all of us, two myths, seperated by a vast ocean will be compared. To further prove that this has not been lost, these myths will be compared to modern day stories and current life today.
