My name is Susanne Samuelsson and I live with my family in the small city of Landskrona situated in the southwest part of Sweden in the county of Scania, ( Skåne on Swedish ). My husbands name is Luigi, ( he´s Italian ) and together we have a son named Christian 17 years old.

I love to take care of my family and our house. I have many interests but my family is the most important of them all. I like to take long walks in the forest or by the sea, cooking and baking. I love to read books and to watch TV. My favorite soap opera is "Days of our lives".

My husband Luigi is a good cook to and he spoils us rotten with good home-cooked Italian food such as Spaghetti Bolognese, Osso Buco, Pollo al Fiorentina, Lasagne al Forno and Pasta Forno.

Our son Christian loves computers and playing computergames and he´s very good at it to. Christian is a great Star Wars fan and his dream is to become a computerprogrammer for computergames or special effects in games or films in the future..

The town of Landskrona was founded in the 1413 by the King Eric of Pomerania. .Before that the flourishing fishing community was called Södra Säby. The county of Scania / Skåne was Danish until 1658 when it became Swedish. Landskrona is a lovely little town situated by Öresund, ( The Sound ) and it said to have one of Sweden's most mixed town milieus with houses from several centuries. Landskrona is a green and spacious town with its many parks and recreation grounds. Landskrona and the island of Ven have lovely sandy beaches. At the fishing village Borstahusen the beaches are perfect for children. Landskrona Castle - the Citadel built in 1549 by the Danish King Christian |||. The Citadel is today the best preserved 16th century fortification in Scandinavia. The Citadel area is scenic with Sweden´s oldest allotments, wonderful gardens and small houses. Ven is the small picturesque island in Öresund, ( The Sound ), famous for it´s Backafall, ( dramatic limestone cliffs ), Ven plaice, Ven pasta and for Tycho Brahe the famous astronomer who lived on Ven in the 16th century. Nowadays we have also a bridge between Sweden and Denmark called The Sound Bridge.
