Europa Plus Antelope Valley went off air at 9:48 PM on May 7, 2003 after being tracked by the Federal Communications Commission along with the Antelope Valley Amateur Radio Club. The station was in violation of Part 95 of FCC Regulations which states:
Any transmission of Music, Sound Effects, Whistling, or anything to amuse or entertain on CB, FRS, or GMRS Radios is prohibited and subject to civil and criminal penalties and/or a $10,000 fine.
