CCS 5/13 Summit Point Race Report and pics!

Last April, fellow DC-Cycles list member (and all around nice-guy) Randy Moran made a public announcement offering the use of his old race bike to whomever wanted to give racing a try. Somehow, I managed to be the first person to reply, and secured the use of Randy's 1989 Kawasaki ZX-7R. A 'veteran' race-bike, the Mighty ZX had been raced for years, across the US and parts of Canada. I recieved my diploma from the Mid-Atlantic Roadracing Club Roadracing School in May, and raced for the first time at Summit Point raceway in June. This past August saw me become a fully licensed road-racer with WERA Motorcyle Racing, after competing at Virginia International Raceway.

Look at that sexy MARRC T-shirt!

I am such a stud. Look at me! I am going to have my own show on FOX in no time.

Here we see the mighty ZX about to prey on an unsuspecting CBR....

Hard to believe I'm doing well over 100 miles per hour in this picture.

Here's Team Jordan Racing's principal rider, Sean Jordan, on the team's 1990 FZR400.
