Lonesome George

Lonesome George is the last Galapagos tortise left of his kind. Scientists even offerd 5 million dollars to any one who could find a female of George's kind.George is endangered because of ships sailing on the water in the late 1700's.People couldn't carry fresh water,so they stopped on that island.They found the turtles waiting there so they just put it on the boat and when the cook wanted a turtle he could put it on the grill.

My report is on endangered species.Endangered animals are animals faced with the danger of extinction.There are all different kinds of endangered animals.The reasons for bieng endangered are because of overhunting,loss of habitat,and human growth in the last few years.
