The Marauders' season
ended, nay collapsed today with a 7-0 loss to Suffolk first seed East
Hampton. Teddy's angles were too acute for his own good. Ron's serve was a
flying green ball of feces. Trevor apparently had a dump in his pants. Guy
played "the best game of his life" but him and Corey still came up short.
Mike Leone played #3 seed in the county at first singles, enough said.
Shave's "cry of the behemoth" could be heard frequently, indicating that he
was in no position to become victorious. Wes' sole ace was miraculously not
enough to earn him a W. Will's "court ballet" and Evan's lanky ass arms were
not enough for them to dominate the "best third doubles team ever." This
team's season did not end the way they wanted it to, but it's a young team,
a growing team, and as seniors Ronald Terr, Evan Hess, Theodore Clench, Tom Falconer, Adam Shave, and
AJ Russolello leave for higher education, the remaining players will have to
step it up for a successful 2004 season. The staff at the Official Site of Bay
Shore Tennis wishes them the best.
