Feel so alone in this cold modern world
No one can find me, there's no one to care
Lost and afraid, into a ball I curled
I can't be happy, no more can I bear

Tossed in the gutters, beat down and confused
Turned around backwards and hung upside down
No one to love me, I'm only abused
I can't run away, though no one's around

I must keep running, I can't slow my pace
Still forever, just a rat in a cage
Running the wheel, my past I can't erase
Just forget my name, my gender, my age

Stop the running, the confusion and pain
Stop my heart and rinse it all down the drain
