Beyonce Ties With Faith For People's Choice Award

Beyonce Knowles continues to shine, as she picked up another award Sunday at the 30th annual People's Choice Awards.

The "My, Myself and I" singer tied with country singer Faith Hill for the Favorite Female Musical Performer award.

The Lord of the Rings trilogy received an Oscar boost at the 30th annual People's Choice Awards Sunday night by becoming the first sequel ever to land a Favorite Dramatic Movie award.

The adventure's second film, "The Two Towers," beat Oscar favorites "Mystic River" and "Master & Commander: The Far Side of the Earth" to land the night's Favorite Dramatic Movie.

Although it lost to "Bruce Almighty" in the Favorite Comedy Movie category, Johnny Depp's "Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl" claimed the People's Choice Award for the Favorite Movie of 2003.

It was also a big night for Julia Roberts, who picked up her 11th Favorite Movie Actress award at the ceremony.

But it was Jim Carrey who stole the night by making a dash for the exit when his movie, "Bruce Almighty," was named the Favorite Comedy Movie of 2003. Wacky Carrey, sporting a crew cut, then insisted on bringing three members of the audience up onstage - to thank them personally for his award.

And in the TV categories, it was a good night for "Friends" - Jennifer Aniston claimed the Favorite Female TV Performer award and the show was voted Favorite Sitcom.
