Guide Right is a program for the educational and occupational guidance of youth, primarily inspirational and informational in character. Its reach extends to high schools and colleges alike. In the latter, giving due attention to the needs of undergraduate Brothers. The Esquire Nupes of Epsilon Nu has tried to keep a hand in our community by keeping it clean, making people aware, and revitalize trust in everything from safety of our Young kids and elderly to food and clothing drive for the homeless. It's not and easy tasks, and we don't expect it to be, but we do our best at whatever God put forth in our path.

Thankgiving Food Drive

Epsilon Nu chapter makes a important contributions to ensure that our Elderly people are not forgotton. We started a food drive during the Thankgiving Holidays along with Councilmen Troy Carter(F'84 Beta Iota Chapter) to walk through our surrounding local Projects and give out Thankgiving basket to the elderly who were alone during the Thankgiving Holidays in the Fall of 1996.

Christmas Food Drive

New Orleans Alumni invited us to engaged during the Christmas Holidays to serve food to the elderly at a local school and make then realized that they are not forgotton in any way. They are our link to our past and well as the knowledge to the future.

Stepping for the kids

We went to Ms. Deanne of Nanny's Jazz Dancer School on the Westbank of New Orleans and performed for the dance school and also step with the kids (Boys and girls ages 7-14).

We also performed and step show along with the local chapter of Delta Sigma Theta from Tulane University at a local shelter for homeless kids.

Meet the Greek Week

The Panhellenic Organization decided to have "Meet the Greek Week" so the students can meet the greeks and learn what each organization has to offer, what they do around the community, and what it takes to become a member of that organization. We the greeks set up tables with displays and information so that the students can browse without being hassle to chose an organization.

Martin Luther King Jr. Walk

Epsilon Nu chapter as well as other chapters of Kappa Alpha Psi represented themselves with other Fraternities and Sororities, Community Activist, and people from the city to participate in the annual MLK walk on January 15. Rain, Sun or Cold didn't damper anyone from remembering a great man, a great hero, a great inspiration to all of us that anything is possible if you believe it's within your heart.
