Trinity Stables is located just a stone's throw from Henderson, KY, and offers the accessibility for everyday riding, in a quiet country setting. We are not a fancy barn, but we are a safety oriented barn with a focus on education in all aspects of horse care and riding.

Instructor, Michele Adams, has spent a lifetime on horseback, and the past 20+ years teaching others about horse care and riding. She is currently training Second Level Dressage, and coaching at local events. She has many references and has served as DC for the local pony club. Along with her husband, Tom, they are youth leaders for Middle School age kids (about 100 strong) at Crossroads Christian Church in Evansville, IN.

Trinity Stables is always accepting new students. No matter your age, no matter your riding abilities, we can help you ride your dream. We teach the basics to get you safely out on a trail ride; and can get you through experienced jumping, so you can handle any cross country/show jumping course. We work with you at YOUR speed/level!

Various Pricing

We are accepting new students.
$150 PARTIAL BOARD- Includes feed*, water, pasture, shelter, and facility use. Owner is responsible for all hay costs. Horse does not have access to stall.
$250 FULL BOARD- Includes stall usage, cleaning (6 days per week), feed*, winter hay, turn out in pasture, water, outside salt, and facility use. ~All you have to do is come and ride!~
$350 FULL BOARD + TRAINING(@)- Includes above plus exercise/training of your horse (3 days per week). Breaking is an additional $100 per month fee.
$25 OVERNIGHT STABLING - For traveling horses. Includes stall (and cleaning), stall bedding, water, private turn-out (when available), and facility use. Hotel accommodations can be made for their owners if required. Proof of negative Coggins, health record (within 150 days), and vaccinations are required. Limited availability, must reserve a week in advance.
$25 FACILITY USE FEE - per person/horse/hour for use of arena and/or XC Jump course. Must reserve one week in advance. Stall rental extra. $50 group rental for 2 hours (3 hours for groups over 10 riders).
$10 FEE -Outside instructors per person/horse/hour for arena and/or XC Jump Course. All outside instructors must provide proof of personal insurance coverage. It is the boarder's responsibility to collect these monies from their trainer, or pay it themselves.
*Trinity feeds up to 2 scoops (approx. 4 quarts) of 12% feed mix per day.
**All owners are responsible for their own vet and farrier bills plus any extra/special feeds and/or supplements. Hay is fed during winter months when grazing is in short supply. You may bring in your own hay to feed during warmer months if you feel it is necessary for your horse.
$5 charge each time for holding horse for vet/farrier/medications/etc. $25 per month charge for blanketing/fly sheets/masks horse.

LESSONS AND FEES
Lessons taught in Dressage, Show Jumping, Cross-Country, Equitation, or Western Pleasure. Riders are required to wear a helmet at all times, when mounted...NO EXCEPTIONS! In addition, Cross-Country riders are required to wear safety vests when jumping.

$25 for 1 hour per student or horse, includes use of schooling horse

$15 for 1/2 hour

$40 for 1 hour of group lessons (max. 4 riders). Please note that if you are a new student, you must take a couple of private lessons before being allowed to ride in a group lesson, to evaluate your abilities. All group lessons are scheduled with riders of same riding level only.

$10 Pony Rides for all of the youngsters (max. weight of 60 lbs)

$20 per hour/rider/horse facility rental. $50 per group for 2 hours.

$30 per day lease for use of a Trinity horse for students wishing to show at Trinity's Schooling Show. (Max. 3 classes allowed per day)

Educational Groups - $5 per person (min. of 5 to schedule). Includes lecture about horses, anatomy, equipment, care, tour of facility, and hands on grooming. Lasts 2-4 hours. Please call at least 2 weeks ahead to schedule. Please have children bring a sack lunch. Call for large group discounts.

Horse Club Friendly
Including USPC, we encourage local horse clubs to use our facilities. Discounts given to groups of 10 or more.

We offer:
***enclosed outdoor arenas just for schooling
***15 acre fenced in cross country jump course (also nice for trail rides)
***training and boarding by safe, knowledgeable caretakers, 24 hour security with cameras
***20 acres of turn-out pastures with lots of "elbow" room for the horses. Every pasture has shelter year round. Heated water troughs in winter to encourage drinking. Stalls have individual fans, as well as a large isle fan, for summer comfort.
***month to month horse leases

We are currently accepting applications for internship for summer of 2009. Please note that this is NOT a paid position. Interns must be at least 16 years of age, provide their own transportation, and be reliable. We can work around your schedule, but we expect you to be at the barn when scheduled. Interns will learn about training horses and horse/barn management. You may work as few as 3 hours per week, up to 10 hours per week. We are also acceptiong limited applications for our "Work for your lessons, VOLUNTEER program", where you earn an 1/2 hour private lesson for every 3 hours of volunteer work time.
