April 13, 2003 P&L 3-Man Tournament Results

The April 13th P&L Three man was a good showing for Team Squid. It was our first Tournament of the year and our first tournament with our newly configured 3-man team. The new 3-man team consists of Jarrod “Cash” Gillis, Peter “Meathead” Barrie, and Steven “The New Guy” Copp. The Team performed very well finishing in Second place for the Tournament and picking up 46 seeding points for the year end championship. “The second place finish was actually somewhat of a letdown after the prelims. We rolled everyone we played in the first 6 games with a preliminary score of 590 and a first place seeding going into the finals. We were happy to finish in second place but I really feel we could have played better in the finals. Paintball is a funny sport like that you can be at the top of your game one minute and then lose some game where you really feel you should have won the next minute, but all in all I was happy with our performance on the day.”-Jarrod “Cash” Gillis (Team Captain) Thanks to P&L Paintball for running a quality Tournament and furnishing us with some cool prizes. If any one wants to check out the P&L homepage its www.pnlpaintball.com. Team Squid is actually playing under the name SUP AIR Squids in the P&L Series if anyone was wondering. Also Congratulations to the Paint Geeks who took first place at the April 13th Tournament. Watch for upcoming Tournament write-ups on the Team Squid Homepage until next time everyone keep on ballin’.
