Math Analysis - Course Overview

Course Rationale:	This course is designed for students who plan to attend college. It's pre-requisites are Algebra I, Algebra II and Geometry. Students in this course are expected to be able to apply basic Algebraic and Geometric principles.
Classroom Rules:	Students should respect the rights of others. Students will enter class prepared and ready to go when the bell rings. There is no such thing as a stupid question. Students will comply with wishes of the teacher in charge.
Supplies Needed:	Three Ring Notebook (1 1/2 to 2 inches wide) Loose Leaf Paper Ruler (12 inch) Pencils (#2 or 0.5mm lead) Ink Pens (Red, Blue, and Black) Calculator - We recommend a Texas Instrument with the model number TI83 or TI83-Plus - It can be purchased online at: Office Depot, Staples, and Walmart.


Grade Calculation:
	50% Tests/Labs	The assignments in this category are over multiple objectives. The tests are normally not open note or open book.
	40% Homework/Quizzes	The assignments in this category are over a single objective or section. They are normally open note or open book unless memorization of some formulas is involved.
	10% Daily Points/Participation	These points are for preparation for class on a daily basis. Is the assignment complete? Do you have all of your supplies?
