Welcome to the Bunkley and Allied family trees.
Hello and welcome to my hubby's family tree. Within these pages I have placed 5 years of research and contributions from cousins.
My interest in genealogy started at a young age. I always heard stories from my grandmother that I was descended from William Brewster, a very important man on the Mayflower. I always loved my history classes so that I could hear about the Mayflower. I began doing my own research in the eleventh grade, after I had to do a family tree project. I called my grandmother and drew out a very extensive tree. I was the only one in my class to know so much about their family. From that point I was hooked. I have been researching and expanding on the research already done by my grandmother and mother for the past 8 years.
With the knowledge that I gained from this expansion of research, I was able to start my husband's family tree. His family has never been fully researched. A cousin did some preliminary research many years ago, but it only covered the descendants of one son, not both. Of course, Eric was descended from the other son.
Someday I hope to pass on this legacy to future generations to maintain and preserve our past.
I try to keep all my research is as accurate as possible, but there are times when my information is wrong. If you have corrections, just give me a buzz.
This site is about the Bunkley families and the Allied families that married into them. I currently have information on 4 different Bunkley lines and 41 Allied families and I am always adding more.
