Sharon High School Theatre CompanyTechnical Positions AvailableThese positions are available for each show. The only job that is a year long position is the Resident Stage Manager. If you are interested in any of these positions, you must make your intentions known to the director in writing. Make sure you state the job you are interested in as well as your qualifications. Students will be notified of their positions as soon as possible. The List of Technical Positions Available to all Theatre Company Members Resident Stage Manager Stage Manager Dramaturge Technical Director Master Bulder Stage Left and Stage Right Crew Chiefs Set Designer Costume Designer Choreographer Props Manager Assistant Director Assistant Production Director Resident Stage Manager This position is for a full year. The job will consist of managing the auditorium for use by people other than the theatre company. If a teacher or the administrators want to have an assembly, this person would be in charge of the sound, lights and stage area. He/she would either run the boards alone or gather a trained crew to assist. The administration and teachers would know who the Resident Stage Manager is and would have to work with that person on each assembly. If an outside group were renting the auditorium, they too would have to work with the Resident Stage Manager.
