The Actor's Contract
To All Actors in GREASE. Please read over this contract - sign, date and
return to the stage manager at the audition. In order to be cast, you must
sign this. If you consistently break the conditions of the contract, you
will be dismissed from the cast.
1. I will be committed to maintain a positive attitude.
2. I will be respectful of everyone whether they are working on stage or
off stage.
3. I will comply with safety rules.
4. I will memorize the script by the date specified in the rehearsal
schedule.
5. I will do character analysis homework assigned by the director.
6. I will show up on time and ready to work for rehearsals.
7. I will communicate concerns to the director or stage manager (instead
of to the cast or crew).
8. If I am going to miss a rehearsal for a legitimate reason, I will
notify the stage managers (and only the stage managers) at least 24 hours
before the rehearsal.
9. I realize that if I miss one rehearsal with an unexcused absence that I
will be in jeopardy of being dismissed from the cast.
10. I will keep clear of drugs and alcohol.
11. I will remain focused during all aspects of the production onstage and
off.
