Mary-Kate and Ashley Fuller Olsen were born on June 13th 1986. David and Jarnette Olsen became parents for the third time.

Both girls were cute and sweet. When Jarnie ( their mother) overheard that there will be an audition for a new sitcom called "Full House" she decided to audition her daughters. Producents were looking for twins for the role of MIchelle Tanner-the youngest "Tanner kid".

Mary-Kate and Ashley easily got the part. "Full House" lasted 8 seasons. Whole cast became like one big family, everyone adored the lovely twins.

In 1991 Mary-Kate i Ashley stared in their first movie called "To Grandmother's House We Go". Audience liked it a lot and that's how it all started...

Robert Thorne became the manager of the twins .At the age of 6 , Mary-Kate and Ashley were announced the youngest producers in the history of Hollywood. Their own producing company was formed - Dualstar Entertainment.

Next the girls started in two series. "The Adventures of Mary-Kate i Ashley" and "Your're invited to Mary-Kate and Ashley's".

Then,more movies. "Double,double toil and trouble" and also "How the west was Fun". At the same time, twins' parents decided to seperate.

More books and a movie called "It Takes Two".

In 1998 twins came back to the small screen. In "Two of a Kind". Ashley plays a really "girly" character that thinks only about makeup and boys, while Mary-Kate plays a tomboy. They also stared in the movie "Billboard Dad".

Mary-Kate and Ashley finished "The Adventures..." series. Also, "Two of a Kind" ended after only one season.It wasn't the end of their careers though. The twins got their own dolls, books and games. Soon after that the audience could enjoy three new movies "Passport to Paris" (filmed in Paris,France), "Switching Goals" (once again Ashley played a "girly girl" and Mary-Kate a tomboy) and "Our Lips are Sealed" (filmed in Australia).

While filming "Two of a Kind" girls garderobe became really intersting, because all the clothes they wore were adult clothes that were cut down . Fans wanted to look just like them, so they started to ask where they can get Mary-Kate and Ashley's clothes.. In 2000-2001 Judy Swartz, girls' clothes designer signed an agreement so Mary-Kate and Ashley could start their very own fashion line.

Mary-Kate and Ashley enterted the 21st century with a few new movies. "Winning London" and "Holiday in the Sun". Not so long ago the twins started in "Getting There", and for the first time Mary-Kate and Ashley sat behind the wheel.

Mary-Kate and Ashley work really hard. They need to have time for acting and school at the same time. Many say that, the girls are like ordinary teenagers and they are no spoiled brats. It's hard to say though, because I do not know them personally. Mary-Kate and Ashley are the world's most known twins right now and whatever they'll decide to do with their future doesn't really matter, because everyone know that they will surely reach their goals....
