THE BOSTON MARATHON COURSE
Welcome! This web site is devoted to the historic Boston Marathon course, a 26.2 mile route in Massachusetts(USA). It is the most comprehensive site of its type. This site explores the fascinating and unique natural and man-made landmarks and symbols as well as the histories of the towns along the course. The course starts in the Town of Hopkinton on the third Monday of every April and proceeds through the municipalities of Ashland, Framingham, Natick, Wellesley, Newton, Brighton, Brookline and Boston.
