Let your fingers and imagination take you on a trip through
the State of Vermont.The Northeast Kingdom has been my
home for 63 years.Lake Willoughby is a spectacular glacial
gouge rimmed with cliff and notable hikes. Peregrine falcons
nest to the east of the lake . There are many trails around
this narrow and deep glacial lake , and they're all interesting.
Hikers use the trails on Mount Pisgah , the east side of the
lake where the steep cliffs make for dramatic viewing. Just
as challenging and with more rocks are the climbable is the
hike from Route 5A on the west side up Wheeler Mountian.
These trails are not especially well-blazed , as they are old
and have seen some wear. These trails get very crowded on
lovely summer and foliage season days.Click on the link
