The Pol Pot Regime was a time in
Cambodia’s dark past when many Cambodians were killed and executed in
cold blood. About 1/3 of the country’s
people died. The Khmer Rouge took
control and burned every property down that belonged to the public. They took everything from the khmer people
and put them in concentration camps.
They believed in pure Khmers and to be pure one needs to be uneducated
and poor.

The largest population of Cambodians in the US is in California,
the second largest population of Cambodians is in Massachusetts. The largest
khmer populated city is Long Beach.
