Group Activity
Directions for Administration:
Students are to be divided randomly into groups of three. Each group will work together solving problems in the Chapter Review. Groups will consist of a recorder, a spokesperson, and a task-manager. After each problem is done, one member from the group explains on the board how his/her group derived at their answer to the whole group. As a whole, the class decides if the answer is correct and if not where that group went wrong. This activity purpose is a review of the material and a chance for students to work with different students they usually don’t work with. This activity will take between 25-45 minutes depending on students’ behaviors. If time persists students will be handed a worksheet to use while working in groups.

Groups will consist of a recorder, a spokesperson, and a task-manager. Move three desk together so all students can see each other. After each problem is done, one member from the group explains on the board how his/her group derived at their answer to the whole group. As a whole, the class will decide if the answer is correct and if not where that group went wrong.
Grading:
Grading will be based on a rubric. Each student receives his/her evaluation individual only (no group grade).
