Mr. Chamberlain's Quote Site

***This site is back up and running, but I kind of like the disclaimer I wrote before, so it remains below.***

Sorry, but due to my desire to save my own ass, this site has been temporarily decommissioned.  In light of recent events which resulted in suspensions of two Topo students and the possible legal prosecution of a Topo alumnus, I have decided that it would be unwise to maintain this site.  Of course, none of the quotes on this site were obtained illegally, but I can't really prove that.  Keeping in mind that Topo High School is a Catholic institution, and that Catholics will do absolutely anything for money and power, I decided that I did not wish to risk any prosecution.  I believe that my site served its purpose in exposing at least some of the problems with Topo High School.  As you can see by the hit counter below, hundreds of people now know of the antics of Mr. Chamberlain.  (Or maybe I preset the counter to a number higher than zero in order to bolster my own ego, and in reality, less than one dozen people have seen this site.  I'd like to see you try to prove it, Superman.)  I was disappointed, though not surprised, by the lack of response from the administration regarding Mr. Chamberlain's teaching habits.  Then I realized that the administration doesn't give a damn about any of its current students, it only cares about prospective students.  After all, you can abuse the hell out of most high school students, and they'll still remain at the same school simply because of convenience.  On the other hand, grade school students actually have a choice about where they want to go to school, so the administration has to feign that they are running a respectable institution.  A lewd article of clothing created by a student is a big deal because eighth-graders might hear about it, but a physics teacher pointing a loaded nail gun (with the safety switch off) at a class of twenty seniors doesn't matter because there were no prospective students there to see it.  If any of you are looking for a quality Catholic education for yourself or your son or daughter and you come across Topo High School, I would advise that you continue your search approximately two miles north and slightly east, where you will find two other Catholic institutes that are much more worthwhile than Topo.  If you have any questions about this site or Topo High School, feel free to contact me.
