World War II
503rd Military Police Company
3rd Army Military Police Platoon

This unit performs the functions normally associated with the Military Police (MP) of the United States Army during WWII.

We believe that learning about the past through actual living experience imparts a greater knowledge and appreciation than any lesson that is simply read from a book. The written pages of history, as an indelible record for us to see, actually comes alive through interactive demonstrations and educational programs individually tailored for each specific age group.

We are available for:

Reenactments: To perform Military Police duties.
Parades: Honor your WWII Veterans. We will provide an honor guard escort with our Military Police vehicles.
Lectures: To the public, schools, and other organizations.

All members use exacting copies, striving for authenticity, or original clothing, uniforms, equipment, and weapons of World War II.

Museum of World War II

The Museum of World War II is a 10,000 square foot, fully staffed, private museum containing the most comprehensive display of original World War II artifacts on display anywhere.  The museum is located just west of Boston, at the junction of two major highways.

The presentation of the exhibits is very different from other museums and is a major reason that the museum is private and not open to the public, although visits are scheduled virtually every day.  Most of the artifacts are not behind glass, and most can be touched.  Fragile items, important letters and documents, handguns, small spy weapons, and the like, are in museum cases, but everything else is openly exhibited.

Visiting

As the Museum is private, tours are given on an individual basis, by appointment only. This is because we want those who have served in the armed forces or who passionately care about this era to be our guests. The people who come here are ones who will best appreciate the interactive nature of the exhibits and artifacts. Therefore, we do not allow 'walk-up' visitation or anyone who does not have an appointment. However, we do welcome and encourage scheduled visits from those seriously interested in this period. Please fax or email us if you would like to visit and tell us about your appeal to World War II. We can be reached by email at mas@museumofworldwarii.com or by fax at (508) 651-7695. Our regular hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00-5:00.  Our summer hours are Tuesday-Saturday 9:00-5:00.
