Matt is one of the original members of the Balls Deep squad along with his two brothers. After the Northborough tournament Matt becomes the youngest players to ever win a championship, beating out the previous holder, Morey, by 1 year. Matt is arguably the best defensive player around, diving everywhere making 1 handed grabs. Matt also has a lot of power and a solid bat. His one probably may be chasing a lot of pitches to try to hit that highlight home run, but controls can control himself. Matt has been working on his pitching lately, mainly fast pitching, but after the pick up of Leahy, his slow pitching is basically useless now that the team features 2 premier pitchers, he can just focus on why he’s on the team – fielding and hitting bombs. Matt has a bright future in front of him especially when he learns to control his emotions and keep his composure when the team is down. He normally ends up with the 2nd most home runs on the day and 2nd highest OBP %...(after Chris he claims). Matt also maintains Griffin Field in the backyard. |
