2001 Haunted House on the Hill

Memorable 2001

The first Haunted House on the Hill was held in October 2001. Spearheaded by its’ mastermind, Mark Maraglia, the event proved to be a success. Patrons were greeted at the door by Carl Landerholm who told the story of the Mad Scientist who once lived there. They were then led through a Vampire lair, small maze, laboratory, prehistoric room, Headless Horseman lair, and finally the mad butcher’s kitchen. The "Maze" was tiny and in a single room, but it was almost pitch black and none of the kids that year went through it, being terrified of it! Roughly 150 patrons came through that year. Though that first year we only had a handful of volunteers and a total of 6 rooms for visitors to go through, the volunteers had the time of their lives.
