Not just a band. Not just a family. DBF can best be described as an experience. An experience that has touched the lives of hundreds of individuals, all the way from Massachusetts to Nevada.

DBF was originally co-founded in the spring of 1997 by Brian Andrews and Drew Archer. Many different band names and lineups were gone through until the fall of 1997, when Drive By Funk was decided upon.

Through the years there have been many guest appearances, and the DBF family did nothing but grow. The first official album, "The Zagars Album", was recorded in 2000, followed by the much anticipated, "Funck's Family Restaurant", later that year. In 2001, jamming and recording continued and the album, "A Day In The Funk", sometimes known as "National Funk Day", which featured the newest official member of DBF, Mark Wright and was produced by Matt Salvucci and Brian Andrews. So enjoy our website, check out the bios, listen to some songs, sign the guestbook, and welcome to the DBF family!

"Yeeeaaahhhh.....What could get better than this? Listening to rock music and drinking soda."
--Jake Archer
