Welcome to the Parish Church of Our Saviour, Episcopal.
We are an open Christian Family. We come from varying places and
backgrounds, and do all manner of things in our daily lives - with different
careers and professions. Some of us have been a part of this family for many years; others of us are new. We may attend different services or engage in different aspects of parish life, but we are all one in the Lord Jesus.
The one thing we share in common is our commitment to Jesus Christ and to this parish Church of Our Saviour, our spiritual home. Our roots are firmly grounded in the rich and deep soil of Anglicanism. This forms the beautiful expression of our common devotional life to our Lord Jesus Christ. Our Anglicanism defines our approach to the Good News or Gospel of our Lord Jesus. But our various parish family members represent a variety of "spiritual personalities". Let me explain.
First and foremost we are seekers, followers of Jesus, trying to live His gospel in the best way we can ... in this parish ... in our community ... in this nation and the world ... by intentionally practicing what Anne Herbert wrote, "random kindness and senseless acts of beauty and goodness"; to one another and in the world at large.
We hope you will come and visit us ... be a part of us ... join the family. Please know that you will be welcome and that we respect your space.
