Here are some pictures of my all too brief stay in the Queen of Cities, Paris

Let's start off with Paris' most famous landmark-the Tour Eiffel as seen from the Arc d'Triomphe.

This is the Arc itself, from the bottom of the Place      And over here we have some of the view from the top of the Eiffel to the Palais de Chaillot across the river    Another view to the west, with the business district of La Defense in the background.    And here is a view to the east of the Eiffel Tower.  Another of Paris' more famous buildings, Notre Dame, from the garden in the back,  and from the Seine, where the Ile de Cite rises out of the river.  And one more of Paris' architectural treasures, the Basilica Sacre-Coeur, which is on the highest point in Paris, on a hill in the artist's district of Montmartre.   And here are some views of the famous cliffs of Dover as seen from the ferry to Calais including a view of Dover castle.
