Herding Clinics at Alamar

Alamar offers beginning herding lessons for owners who would like to learn to use or trial their herding dog. Clinics are offered regularly with people experienced in all breed herding training. Stockwork facilities include different size pens for beginning dogs and handlers and a large field for more advanced work. Sheep are available for the novice handler and dog and the more experienced handler as well. Our techniques are geared to teaching students who have not worked stock before. All herding breeds are welcome.
