Communicating Around the World!

Hello, My name is Abosode Alabi. I am originally from Africa and English is my second language. I have been living here in Boston for almost ten years and have never visited Africa since then. My 9 year old son, Deji, and I came to the computer class to learn computers. I was happy to know that after I learned I was going to take a computer home. This was good news. However, during our computer class my out look changed. Yes, I was still happy that I received the computer, but I was even happier that my son received an "A" in his computer class and I know it was due to the program. Another great thing that happened to me was that I was able to communicate via email with my sister in africa and through our exchange of email I was able to send pictures of our family. My sister took the pictures to the village where I am from and showed my mami and papi and everyone in the village. We are now communicating often.
