As you enter the sun-drenched sands, you notice a beautiful creature unlike any other that you have ever seen!

You try to step closer, by it seems very shy and bounds away at the sight of you. Athena suddenly appears out of the skys. You ask her about the lovely thing. "That is a Melcey." she explains. "She is an exquisite Blue and Yellow color." "Her name is Shamere." "She is very shy and self-concious." "Yet no matter how harsh the sun or the land, the never have been able to mar the sleekness of her coat or the perfection of her tail." "Her eyes have a brilliance that escapes definition, she is truly mysterious, and prefers to be alone." "You are lucky to have caught a glimpse of her!" "Ah, but we must go, and let her at peace." Her image runs through your mind a few times vaguely, she's gone, but was she ever really there??
Just as Shamere vanishes, another Melcey appears.
It calmly greets you "Lo" You are a bit stirred at how shy shamere was compared to this handsome melcey. What a difference indeed! Where has Shamere gone you ask him. He replys, "oh, she doesn't like strangers too much, she prefers the company of other melceys." By the way he adds.. "I am Surfdancer, a male blue-marble melcey." "Shamere is my "big sister",and I adore her!" You notice him blush slightly. "I was a little hesitant at first to come and stay with her, because she was rumored to be mean and cruel!" "That was certainly NOT the case at all!" "She is layed back and catious of intruders." "Please don't think too badly of her." You smile...then..what??...could it be?? It's Shamere! She stealthily comes nearer, her muscles tightening and rippling in eager anticipation of this newcomer to her land. Her eyes locked on every move you make. Afire trots over to Shanel. "OHH don't be soo overprotective. He calmly advises. "This traveler shan't harm us any." Shamere instantly lets down her guard. "Forgive me!" she replys. "As you can see, I'm very wary of any intruders, especially humans, but I see that you aren't what I had anticipated." She seems very sensitive to his wishes. Surfdancer bounds back over to where you are sitting on a old, gray shell. "I have to go." He gently nuzzles you in farwell and vanishes through the reeds from hence he came. ^_^

As you trudge through the wet sand and up across the vast,thickening reeds yet another melcey catches your eye. This melcey looks slightly different, but it posses something the others didn't. You can't quite place it. Just as you try to get a closer look, the wind picks up, and the melcey knows now your presence. It boldly trots to you.

"Well Hi Traveller!" "I am Lelia, a female, sky melcey." "Welcome, I assume you have met our other inhabitants." She bows gracefully before you, and you nod. "I am currently searching for my beanie, a gift from Surf and Shamere, have you seen it?" "No." you reply. "Oh, well then I must be off, I don't want to keep you any longer." "I'm sure you have some other engagements, as I do." She begins to swiftly trot off then turns abruptly..."Farewell, and good luck on your future journey!" You keep your eyes fixated on her until she is no longer in view, and you are alone again. Something seems to be glaring at you from a distance. You advance forward the through the sun-bleached reeds, until you come across an old, gray tree stump. Attached to the broad front is a gold plaque that says....Melcey Pup Stats...
