What's New
MHB has a totally new look! Hopefully it will work..If anyone experiences any trouble, email MyHorseBarn@aol.com and tell us what's wrong. We've added LOTS of new sections, updated almost everything, and plan to keep this site growing and updated all the time :)

Meet Nick..
Nick Of Time (AKA Nick) is a Dutch Warmblood gelding. He's liver chestnut (with tons of dapples lol), 16.1 hh, 6 years old as of this May. He was imported early in the summer of 2000. I bought him in August :) He's very goofy and clownish, and LoVeS people. He is very good natured, and is very competitive (although some may call him lazy). Nick and I compete throughout the East Coast AHSA A-Circuit, showing hunters (Juniors), equitation (12-14 eq., all the Medals) and some jumpers (Children's jumpers). With our trainer, he also shows First Year Greens.

Riding Updates
Went to Fieldstone today to do the warmups and have a lesson, and guess what: Nick has a splint in his right front and is pretty lame. The vet said I can't ride him for up to 4 weeks (but as few as 2 weeks, so keep your fingers crossed! lol!) :( I'm soo sad :( All the shows are cancelled, and Nick has to stay in his stall. He deserves a vacation, though, cuz he's been so great lately. Boohoo, I'm sosososososoooo sad :(

(Picture at Right) That's me and Nick at HITS Ocala, our first time doing Juniors! His jumping style has improved so much (See Gallery for more pictures of us) in the months that I've had him, and he's just generally matured- riding wise. Although he doesn't spook as much as before, and behaves himself a little better, that is not to say he's lost any of his "goofiness". In fact, I'd say that he's become more of a clown in the past month or so. He knows tricks: he'll bow, stick out his tongue on command, and give the dogs massages. And he also seems overall happy. I hope he is always like this :) More updates coming soon!

Somehow, our old guestbook became "full", and it became impossible to add new entries. So, we have a brand new one! BUT, there aren't any entries! C'mon guys, pretty please? Just sign it! We'll visit your site if you leave the URL :)
