Benefits of Membership
It's difficult to put into words how much we gain from being part of this chapter. It's more than just playgroups. It's more than just networking. It's more than just an excuse to get out a couple of times a month. While some of our members are dealing with diapers and preschool, others are puzzling out how to parent teenaged kids. We have an active group of "seasoned moms" that bring wisdom and humor to those of us who feel that we'll never get our toddlers potty-trained. The support we get from each other helps all of us cope with challenges of parenting.
Membership dues are $45 annually, for which members receive many benefits:
- family support in the form of meals and other help for members with new babies (or other life events)
- The Forum, a quarterly magazine published by Mothers & More
- national and local email lists for networking and support
- volunteer and leadership opportunities both small and large
