Remember the holiday seasons is the time for giving.
Just like the old saying goes its better to
give than receive.
Each year we donate to at least one christmas charity.
We do this for a few
reason.One because many people are in need,not only during the holiday season,but all year long.The holiday
season is especially difficult for many families,and children.
We place all our donations in the name
of our son David,who is no longer with us,it helps us cope with our loss.
We are also very big on
the Salvation Army,everytime we pass one of these buckets we add a little something.
If our children
are with us,we let them toss in the money,and we explain to them each year why we are doing this.
So
this year when you are busy doing your holiday shopping,and all caught up in the hustle and bustle,Stop
and donate something,anything at all to at least 1 charity.
Also remember you don't have to just donate
money,there are many charities that could use some extra help, food,used items,new items.
