MCS Awareness Week:
Massachusetts Governor Duval Patrick proclaims May 11-17, 2008 as Multiple Chemical Sensitivity Awareness Week. The Massachusetts Association for the Chemically Injured requested the Governor's Proclamation for the "MCS Awareness Week" to help raise public awareness about Multiple Chemical Sensitivity (MCS). Governor Patrick's Proclamation has kept Massachusetts among the list of states granting this recognition and has helped raise public awareness on this very important health issue. RESEARCH

Invite to participate in MCS research regarding the Centers for Independent Living:

In effort to study and improve services to the chemically sensitive, Dr. Pam Gibson and her students are seeking persons with chemical sensitivity that have requested help from a Center for Independent Living (CIL). The study will take approximately 20 minutes to complete and is accessible through Dr. Gibson’s research site at www.mcsresearch.net. You can also access the survey directly on Websurveyor at https://websurvey.jmu.edu/ss/wsb.dll/40/mcsperspectives.htm. We would be grateful for your participation. If you have attempted to access a CIL and are willing to participate, but unable to complete a study online, please contact us for a paper survey or a phone interview.

Extension Toxicology Network (EXTONET)
Supported through a cooperative effort by 5 universities: U. of California-Davis, Oregon State, Michigan State, Cornell & U. of Idaho, this is a searchable data base providing fact sheets on pesticides.
C&P Press - The Big Green Book
A free service of C&P Press, this searchable data base has information from the Crop Protection Reference Book., a.k.a. "The Big Green Book." Searchable by product or company name & provides a product label or the Material Safety Data Sheet written by the manufacturer.
