Bacon Mushroom Roll-Ups


1 pound of bacon
1 onion, diced
1 clove garlic, minced
1 loaf white bread
1 brick (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
1 pound of mushrooms, finely chopped
2 Tbsp. melted butter


Cut off crusts of all slices of white bread.  
Roll out the bread until quite thin. 
If you don't have a rolling pin, try a soup can.  
In a skillet, fry the bacon, onion, and garlic until browned.  
Add the mushrooms and continue to cook until mushrooms are tender, about 5 minutes.
Add the softened cream cheese and stir until well blended.
Remove from heat.  
Put a spoonful of the mixture on each slice of bread and roll up.  
Put on a cookie sheet fold side down.  
Brush the rollups with the melted butter.
Bake at 350 degrees F for about 15 minutes or until lightly browned.
