Grannie's Rice


1 lb. sausage
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup chopped celery
1 cup uncooked rice
1 envelope dry chicken soup mix
4 cups water


Brown sausage in frying pan. 
Add celery, onion, and rice.
Brown for a few minutes. 
Drain off liquid. 
Add dry chicken soup and water.
Bring to a boil, then simmer one hour, covered. 

Serves 4 to 6
