Our birth records are sealed by the courts of law after we are adopted.
Adoptees do not have the right to obtain their original birth certificates, while others do.
Because many Adoptees have no right to their medical records, many have died because they were not allowed access to these records, even when represented by legal authorites. In some areas, this ruling is being changed.
As an Adoptee myself, I created this website to help other Adoptees search for their biological roots.
We have the right to do so.
