Anyone remember this show?
Did you enjoy watching Small Wonder on television in the 1980s? Would you like to see Small Wonder return to television? Are you a closet fan who's dying to see what happens with the Lawsons again? Have you never seen Small Wonder before, but think it sounds like a great show?

If you watched television between 1985 and 1989, it's almost impossible for you to forget Vicki (or, more accurately, VICI - the Voice Input Child Identicant), the adorable robot/daughter, the brainchild (literally!) of Ted Lawson, daughter to Joan, and sister/maid to Jamie. Oh, yeah - her true "identity" is supposed to be a secret! Played by the young and highly talented Tiffany Brissette, the pinafore-wearing Vicki won our hearts as she experimented with being a normal girl in a normal household.

Unfortunately, Fox completely underestimated the popularity of this sitcom, one of the last ever written to center around family values. In fact, audiences of this show ranged from the very young (like I was when I watched!) to grandparents, who thought Vicki was simply adorable! I myself have such fond memories of watching Small Wonder while in elementary school, always laughing at whatever happened, and wondering what it would be like to have a robot for a sister! After all - my real sister couldn't lift the refrigerator!

Now...down to business.
Click
here for a simply wonderful site on Small Wonder, including photos, interviews, biographies, and uncut VIDEOS of selected episodes! Watch these and relive those happy memories of the late 1980s with Vicki and the Lawsons. Oh, yeah - the Brindles will drop by, too. We can't leave them out, now can we? No no-no no-no-no!

Now that you've watched some episodes, perhaps you're hoping that you can watch all the episodes again on television. Well, maybe you can, by writing to Fox, the owner of Small Wonder. I've already written to WFXT-25, Boston's Fox station, as well as Fox Television and Fox Family Channel. (If anyone will show Small Wonder, I personally think it will be on Fox Family. Small Wonder seems like such a perfect show for their line-up!)

If you would like to write asking for Fox to bring back this wonderful sitcom, please feel free to write to the addresses below, as well as to your local Fox station. Click here to find the address to write to.

To write to Fox Television and Fox Family, you can use this address:

Fox Television (or Fox Family Channel)
P.O. Box 900

Please let us know if you have any luck in getting Small Wonder back on the air! And be sure to fire up your VCRs! Episodes of Small Wonder aren't commercially available yet.

I, and many other fans of Small Wonder, greatly appreciate your continued interest in the show! Even though so much time has passed, I am still in awe that Small Wonder never left our hearts and minds. If you've written to Fox, I, and many others, thank you for being a part of the effort to bring Small Wonder back to television! If you're considering, we thank you anyway for keeping the memory of Vicki and the Lawsons alive and well! And hopefully you'll want Small Wonder back on the air, too. It can be done! We can convince Fox that we want a return to wholesome television the whole family can watch, and that we want Small Wonder to pave the way for a return to television worth watching!
