The island is made up of two countries: the Dutch side, Sint Maarten N.A. and the French side, Saint Martin. Along with two countries comes two Capitals:
Philipsburg, Sint Maarten N.A.
While duty free shopping in Philipsburg we found Everyting Cool to be a base for our day. They had a wide varity of frozen drinks, good food, lockers for storing purchases and changing facilities, if you wanted to use the beach.
