ABOUT ME

My name is Jim and I am 13 years old. I am interested in every thing from computers to radio communcations. I know how to use both MAC and PC computers. I know windows DOS and some Linux. I have my ham radio license and my callsign is KB1EGF. I enjoy programing and making webpages. Some good programing languages are C, C++, Visual C++, VB(visual Basic), Java Scrippt, Delphi, Quick Basic. Some good computer software to run is Linux and Unix. I am going to be running Red Hat Linux on my computer soon once i get to know it better.

HACKING

I am very interested in hacking. Most people confuse hacking with cracking. Basicly hackers build things and crackers break them. A hacker is a person who devotes a lot of time and effort into programing. Many people have been fooled into using the word "HACKER" to describe a CRACKER. If you want to be a hacker you should read some books on programing. If you want to be a cracker then you should leave this webpage, and plan to spend some time in the slammer when you find out your not as smart as you thought you were.

LINUX AND UNIX

If you want to install Linux and still be able to use Windows you should use the dual boot opition. This is a good idea, except if you want to do this you should have a big hard drive atleast a 10GB so you have plenty of room for both your Windows Applacations and Linux Applactions. I run Linux and Windows on a seperate computer.
