The hay house is a place were they put hay, they can raise, and lower the ceiling, depending on the amounts of hay.
Palisade
The Pilgrim Village is surrounded by a palisade about eight feet high constructed of oak logs, supported by log posts. There are four gates in the protective wall. The original palisade was built in February, 1622, it was about 2700 feet in length!
