Since 1955, the Quebec Winter Carnival is recognized as the World's biggest
winter celebration, and is the third largest carnival (after those in Rio and new Orleans).
Quebec City's historic streets will be filled with revelers of all ages, anxious to experience
the joys of winter at the world-famous Quebec Carnival.
WINTER ADVENTURES

These people like snow. Winter is one long festival from snow sculpture contests to
snowmobile racing to ice skating festivals. Everywhere and anywhere, somebody is celebrating
the snow. In Quebec City they even have a king for winter, Bonhomme Carnaval, who rules from
an ice palace, can you believe. These folks have so much fun with snow, why not share it with
them?
