Link to National Alpha Lambda Delta
Alpha Lambda Delta was founded in 1924 at the University of Illinois to recognize academic excellence among freshmen women. It soon became a national organization, becoming coeducational in the mid-1970s. There are currently over 220 chapters, and more than 575,000 students have been initiated. The purpose of the society is to encourage superior academic achievement among students in their first year in institutions of higher education, to promote intelligent living and a continued high standard of learning, and to assist women and men in recognizing and developing meaningful goals for their roles in society. Thank you for visiting our page! It is currently under construction, so check back soon for updates!!
